Launching a coin

Chartist launches coins on pump.fun today — name, symbol, image, your dev buy and your first buyer wallets, bundled into one block so nothing can be sniped in between.

Launch modes — locked forever at create

pump.fun fixes a coin's launch mode at creation; it can never change afterward, not even by a community takeover.

  • StandardCreator fees — you earn the creator share of every trade, claimable anytime.
  • CashbackTrader cashback — the creator share goes to traders by volume. Locked forever; can never be CTO’d.
  • Mayhempump.fun’s AI agents trade your coin for ~24h (+1B supply to their vault; excluded from BOOST).

Bundling the open

Your mint is created inside your own signing service — you only ever see its public address, never a key you have to safeguard yourself before launch. The create transaction, your dev buy and your chosen buyer wallets' opening buys are assembled into one bundle and submitted together, so the first block belongs to you rather than whoever is watching the mempool.

Metadata

Name, symbol, image and socials are normally pinned for you automatically. If this deployment doesn't have IPFS pinning turned on, the launcher tells you up front and asks for a metadata URI you've pinned yourself instead — the app is honest about which one applies rather than letting a launch fail partway through.

Launch fee
Launching charges its own fee — a flat SOL fee plus a small percentage of your bundled buy volume — separate from the 1% trading fee that applies once your coin is trading normally.

Chartist's own launchpad — coming, not live

Chartist is building its own bonding-curve program, aimed at a materially better fee split for creators and traders than pump.fun's. It is still in development and not available to launch on today — everything above describes the pump.fun launch that ships now.
