Market maker
Coming soonTell the market maker what the chart should do, and it trades your wallets to get there: small, scheduled buys and sells around the current price, inside a budget and limits you set. There is no order book on pump.fun, so nothing rests on a book; every action is a swap.
Pick a goal
- Hold a range: Keep the price inside a band you draw.
- Climb to a target: Walk the price up to a target at your pace.
- Exit smoothly: Sell a bag without crashing the chart.
Then set the pace on a slider from Gradual to Fast (Gradual, Steady, Balanced, Brisk, Fast). Gradual moves slowly in small steps; Fast gets there sooner and costs more. Advanced lets you tune the pace by hand.
See the cost before you start
As you edit, a preflight prices the run against the coin’s live pool: what it costs to set up or to reach your target, the highest target your budget can reach, how much of the coin you would hold at the end, what that bag would sell for right now, and the round-trip fee. A run the budget can’t carry is refused before any money moves.
The preflight values your bag at what it would actually sell for, not at the chart price, because selling a large bag moves the price down.
Limits that stop a run
- Budget: the most SOL a run may spend across all its wallets.
- Guards: a maximum loss, a price below which it pauses, a price above which it stops buying, and a cap on how much of the pool it may hold.
- The run ends at its budget or time limit, and you can stop it at any moment.
Pay for it from creator fees
If you launched the coin, a run can be paid from the creator fees it earns instead of a budget you top up. You can also publish a public program card so holders can see what the run is doing.
Pricing, once live
Budget a run never spends is never charged. pump.fun’s own trading fees still apply to every swap.
Advanced: classic strategies
Under the goal designer, an Advanced drawer keeps the rule-based strategies: Floor Defender, Ceiling Seller, Range Maker, Grid Trader, Dynamic Scalper, Rebalancer and Farm. Each comes with risk presets:
- Conservative: Smaller budget, shorter run, longer cooldowns, tighter slippage — the cautious start.
- Balanced: ~0.1 SOL over 24h at this strategy's own tuned cooldown/slippage — a sensible middle.
- Aggressive: Bigger budget, longer run, faster cooldowns, looser slippage — more activity, more risk.
