Risks & disclosures

The honest print, in one place. Read it before you trade.

Market risk

  • Memecoins are extremely volatile and most go to zero. Only trade what you can afford to lose.
  • Nothing in Chartist is investment advice or a promise of any outcome.
  • Blockchain transactions are final. Check the coin, the amount and the address before you confirm.
  • Prices can move between your quote and your fill, and stop-loss orders can fill below their trigger in a fast market.

Custody

In-app wallets are custodial: Chartist holds their keys, sealed in an isolated signing service, and signs for you. You are trusting Chartist with what you keep in them, so keep only what you are actively using. Withdrawals are subject to safety limits on how fast value can leave a wallet. You can export keys while signed in with your Solana wallet. Details on Custody & keys.

Features that are not finished

A Beta feature is usable and can move real funds, but has not been proven end to end. A Coming soon feature may be visible in the app but does not move funds. Don’t rely on either the way you would on a Live one. Current labels are on What’s live.

Coordinated trading

Volume, market making and bundled buys
These tools place coordinated trades across wallets you control. Venues and analytics tools look for exactly this, and some jurisdictions treat it as market manipulation. Whether you may use them is your responsibility under the rules that apply to you. Chartist provides the tools and this disclosure; you decide how they are used.

Automation has a real cost

The market maker, volume campaigns and Chart Studio trade real SOL against everyone else on a coin. Heavy outside selling can make a goal expensive to hold. Budgets are hard ceilings and a run stops there, but the cost up to that ceiling is real.

API keys

An agent key can never export a key or withdraw to an outside address, but a trade key can spend your SOL on trades. Give keys the narrowest scope, set an hourly cap, and revoke any key you think has leaked.

Third parties

  • Chartist trades and launches on programs it does not control, starting with pump.fun and PumpSwap. Their fees, rules and availability can change without notice.
  • Wallet apps you connect, such as Phantom or Solflare, are separate products with their own terms.
  • Solana itself can be congested or degraded, which can delay or fail transactions.
